Adventure feelings in awesome desert landscapes 🏜️
Wow! Wow! And wow again! … Only that is how I can express the awe I felt during and still months after my tour to and into these two most special desert canyons, some 50 km north of Dahab.
My expectations were more than exceeded and I can only recommend this exciting yet safe day trip into the desert to anyone looking for adventure in fascinating landscapes with beautiful photo locations.
The exhilarating descent and subsequent 1.5-hour hike through the White Canyon were already a true highlight. Afterwards, the friendly welcome and relaxing lunch break at Ain Khudra oasis made my (explorer’s) heart beat faster. Yet ultimately, the Red Canyon with its mesmerizing colors completely took my breath away. The pictures posted here impressively convey why I’m still so excited about this trip.
