Night ride to the pyramids at sunrise 🌄
Though being a “horse rookie”, Kimo easily convinced me on my first visit to Giza to experience the sunrise right in front of the pyramids on the back of a four-legged friend.
At 2.30 a.m. he was standing in front of my accommodation with an unexpectedly beautiful Arabian mare. For the first time in my life I was shortly after able to truly feel like a “prince on a white horse”.
After a quick briefing, we set off on nighttime paths that are not accessible to all tourists to experience the sunrise in the desert. Seeing the pyramids in the magical light of the first minute of sunrise will always remain unforgettable for me and was definitely worth the price.
If you would also like to experience this feeling of elation and the fascination of the early morning hours at the pyramids, I would be pleased to put you in touch with Kimo. As a half-Bedouin, he is a genuinely gifted rider, yet easygoing enough to gently teach beginners their first riding lessons. And should you already be a riding professional you will surely enjoy some expert conversations with him.
Kimo provides suitable riding clothing on site if neccessary. And of course this wonderful tour is also suitable for little “princesses”. Day trips to the pyramids can also be arranged.
